Retriever Pet Waste Co. is a veteran-owned, family-operated pet waste management company serving Columbus, Muscogee County, Harris County, and Fort Benning, Georgia. A pet-friendly property is a selling point until the grounds say otherwise. We keep common areas, dog parks, relief areas, and stations clean on a fixed schedule, and we prove it after every visit.
Request a Property WalkthroughScheduled removal across lawns, courtyards, walking paths, and dedicated dog park areas. Weekly or twice weekly frequency based on traffic and season.
Every station emptied, bags restocked, dispenser wiped down, every visit. No more resident complaints about empty dispensers and overflowing cans.
New stations supplied and installed where your property needs them. We help you place them where they actually reduce waste on the ground.
Hotels and veterinary facilities run a small relief area that takes every animal on the property. We service it on a schedule, keep the bags stocked, and deodorize it monthly with an enzyme treatment.
Properties that have gone without service get a one-time full cleanup first, so scheduled service starts from zero. Quoted separately and up front.
A summary after every visit: areas serviced, stations restocked, how much waste came off the property, and any grounds issues we spotted. Your file for the board, your regional, or a resident dispute.
Apartment communities. Managed properties are the business here, not a sideline behind a residential route. Grounds and common area upkeep, which is where pet waste shows up, ranks number two overall among resident complaints in the J Turner Research data, and pet waste and off-leash pets rank in the top ten on their own. We take the whole category off the maintenance list.
HOAs. Boards are volunteers, and fining people does not work. A scheduled service with a written report after every visit ends the argument about whose dog it was. Twelve month term, then month to month, which fits the one-year contract cap most declarations put on a board.
Pet-friendly hotels. The pet fee is margin. The relief area is what the guest sees. We service the designated relief area and all pet-accessible grounds on a schedule, restock the bags every visit, and keep a dated after-service log on file for the next brand QA walk.
Veterinary and boarding facilities. Every patient uses the same strip of grass out front. We service the relief area and any exercise yard on a schedule and apply an enzyme deodorizer to high traffic areas. Deodorizing only; we do not make sanitizing claims.
We quote a flat monthly rate after walking your property, based on acreage, station count, grounds condition, and service frequency. On a per-unit basis it typically works out to a few dollars per unit per month, less than almost any other amenity line on your budget. Hotels and veterinary facilities are priced per relief area per visit with a minimum per stop. Twelve month term, then month to month, with a thirty day out for failure to perform.
One more thing worth knowing: most grounds contracts cover mowing and sometimes the stations. They almost never cover collection across the common areas. So the waste sits until the mower reaches it, and then the mower spreads it across everything it touches. Stations get missed, which you can verify in sixty seconds by walking out and checking whether yours are stocked. That makes pet waste grounds maintenance, not an amenity add-on.
Home base. Apartment communities, HOAs, and hotels across Columbus, Midland, and Fortson, with the Columbus pet waste ordinance behind the program.
Cataula, Hamilton, Pine Mountain, Waverly Hall, and Ellerslie. An HOA covenant market with no county pet waste ordinance, so the board is the enforcement.
On-post housing and the apartment, HOA, and hotel corridor on the south side of Columbus, where turnover and inspections set the pace.
Both. Managed properties are the core of the business. We provide scheduled common area cleanup, dog park maintenance, pet relief area service, and pet waste station supply, installation, and restocking for apartment communities, HOAs, and pet-friendly hotels, with an after-service report after every visit. Residential yard service runs weekly or twice weekly.
Commercial service is a flat monthly rate set by unit count, station count, and grounds condition. For most properties it works out to a few dollars per unit per month. We walk the property first and put a written per-unit estimate in front of you. The walkthrough is free.

Yes. Pet-friendly hotels and veterinary or boarding facilities get scheduled service of the designated pet relief area and pet-accessible grounds, bag restocking every visit, and enzyme deodorizing of high traffic areas. Priced per relief area per visit with a minimum per stop.
